As a Digital Artist and communications specialist for the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin, Nolan Zunk created cinematic, documentary, and instructional video projects capturing student life, scientific research, and institutional transitions across the college. This work includes the Graduation Opening Video, a looping cinematic piece shown at the Moody Center and later shared widely on social media, built primarily from original B-roll, drone footage, timelapses, and student features captured during my tenure. They also produced the Graduation Ticketing Video, an evergreen instructional resource developed during the university’s shift to a centralized commencement venue, combining original graphics, narration, and animation to clearly communicate graduation logistics to students and families. In parallel, Nolan Zunk produced Nexus Point, a documentary-style series highlighting graduate research across disciplines; following the launch of Season 1, Season 2 introduced refreshed branding, expanded cinematic B-roll, and new scientific voices, with episodes released throughout 2023 and early 2024. Across these projects, Nolan Zunk conducted and filmed interviews and capture the majority of featured footage, creating adaptable visual assets used throughout university communications.
